5 Humpback Whales and More in the northeastern Santa Barbara Channel

5 Humpback Whales and More in the northeastern Santa Barbara Channel

Among the five humpback whales we watched today was “Rope,” our old pal. This time she had two buddies with her and one of them took off and got fully airborne right next to the Condor Express. The breach sent spray flying high and almost got the passengers on the main deck wet. Under ideal conditions again today at least 3 Minke whales were also observed as well as approximately 400 common dolphins. It was a spectacular trip and the weather was stupendous.
