“YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MOTHER NATURE HAS IN STORE”
There are still a few spots available for our next 8+ hour cetacean and wildlife quest in the Santa Barbara Channel.
As many of you know, 2020 has been a banner year for giant blue whales in our “backyard.” I’ve personally not seen this many blue whales, and for such a sustained period of time since the 2007 – 2009 seasons. As I write this message we continue to encounter the giants in good numbers on every trip. For a look at my photographs from our last 8+ hour trip on August 29th, click on this link:
Saturday, September 26, 2020 we’ll depart SEA Landing in Santa Barbara Harbor at 8am sharp (please check-in 30 min in advance) and explore the Channel, returning sometime after 4pm. With no set course heading or limiting time constraints we’ll go where the action is and spend quality time with each encounter. Over the past week we’ve recorded giant blue whales, humpback whales, Minke whales (some very friendly), and a great assortment of dolphins, pinnipeds, pelagic birds and other unique species in our Channel.
I urge you to make your reservation NOW before the trip sells out. Use this link to sign-up:
I’ll see you on board! …and remember: You never know what Mother Nature has in store.
