A single noon adventure ran under a low stratus deck with no wind and a slight swell. Sightings included 1 humpback whale and 20 coastal bottlenose dolphins.
The dolphins located the Condor Express near Hope Ranch and the pod included lots of little calves. There was a lot of racing around (chasing fish) and numerous friendly visits to the boat.
A bit later we were 6 miles off Goleta when we located and watched a single adult humpback whale. It was on a regular dive cycle with 5 minute dive times…great to see!
You never know what mother nature has in store.
