Captain Dave ran a single 2½ hour trip today with flat sea conditions and light rain. Off Leadbetter Beach about 15 Pacific white-sided dolphins came over to play, and a little further offshore we found a pod of 50 or so long-beaked common #dolphins too. In the same area we were startled when a full-grown adult humpback whale breached out of nowhere, and then proceeded to show off its entire behavioral repertoire. The #whale rolled, slapped its pectoral fins and tail flukes as well. It was quite a show.
