Captain Dave was back from his marine mammal entanglement conference and charged out of the gate with three Condor Express boat loads of cetacean lovers today (9a, 12 noon and 3pm). All three trips enjoyed the same ideal weather and sea conditions. All three trips had good gray whale sightings on the northbound migration. All three trips took an outside loop away from the beach to find hundreds of long-beaked common dolphins. Here are the score totals:
9am 2 gray whales 100 common dolphins
12 noon 6 gray whales 300 common dolphins
3pm 3 gray whales 200 common dolphins
Another fantastic day all the way around. You never know what Mother Nature has in store. Bob Perry Condor Express
