Coastal Gray Whales Abound
The Condor Express ran two trips today, one at 9am and another at 12noon. Gray whales heading north along the coast were observed on both trips, as well as common dolphins. With ideal sea conditions on the 9am trip a total of 4 gray whales were watched. The noon trip started out nice but the winds quickly kicked up and blew hard, but the Condor Express was not deterred, and an additional 3 gray whales were observed. All in all it was a great day for coastal northbound gray whale watching.
Tomorrow there are still spots available on the 12 noon trip.
