Whoooeee! What a day! Captain Dave and his crew really put one together today. Weather-wise, the first hour or so was characterized by a thin marine layer and then it burned off to leave bright, blue sunny skies for the remainder of the day. Seas were calm and the Santa Barbara Cobalt water color was still found in abundance. Speaking of abundance, the crew located another humpback whale hot spot where they closely watched 8 #whales but had many more spouts in visual range. Long-beaked common dolphins were everywhere in good numbers and at the end of the trip Dave estimated at least 2,000 #dolphins had been watched in that clear blue water. The humpbacks came over to the Condor Express a few times too, which is always a show-stopper.
