Five humpback whales

Saturday, September 15, 2012 Trip Sightings Report:

Here are the species we watched closely today: 5 Humpback whales 1,000 Common Dolphins

NOTES: Good conditions in the eastern Channel today. Our friend “Rope,” the humpback whale, and her friend were there as she has been lately. There were also three more humpback whales new to the area. One was a male with frosty dorsal areas. Dolphins were non-stop and everywhere.

Call 888-77WHALE or 805-882-0088 to book your whale trip.

In addition to the expert crew on the Condor Express with over 35 years of experience, Channel Islands Naturalist Corps volunteer naturalists, representatives from the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and National Park, are usually on board and available to answer your questions during the trip.
