Captain Eddy and the crew report another day with dense fog in The Channel. Several small sunny spots did open up a few times, but they were “false alarms.” Sightings for the trip included 1 humpback whale and 200 common dolphins.

A very small pod of dolphins first located the Condor Express north of The Kelp Farm, and a few others were watched here and there during the excursion. While watching a second pod south of The Farm, a single small humpback whales came to the surface. We had some great looks at it, especially tail flukes, before continuing our southerly course.

You never know what Mother Nature has in store.
