Captain Mike located 9 gray whales on one single 2.5 hour trip today that left the harbor at noon. The whales were sighted in three’s. First there were 3 smaller whales right up on the beach past Hendry’s. Next Mike ran the Condor outside and found a mating trio with lots of rolling around, etc. Finally, on the way back towards the harbor there were three more gray #whales giving such great looks that Mike got back to the dock a bit on the late side. Nobody was complaining !
