Captain Eric and the crew report another calm, flat sunny day on the feeding grounds today and there were two humpbacks whales watched closely. One was the prop scar whale that did all the jumping earlier this week, and its pal is the whale with the all white tail. Today seemed to be more of a “digesting and lounging” day, without any fanfare or spectacular behaviors. But in the slow lounging and cruising, the two humpback whales did come close to the boat on several occasions affording all some great looks. Rounding out the species list, over 1,500 common dolphins were also in the area all day long.
The boat does not run on Monday’s and Tuesday’s.
Best wishes for the holiday season Bob Perry Condor Express
