Whales are feeding again at Sta Rosa ! Report for Sun 8/29

Whale and Dolphin Watchers, The big boys are back in town.  Blues and Humpbacks moved west and are now back on the Santa Rosa Island feeding grounds.  Today there was abundant surface lunge feeding activity as the krill was up.  What a day! Here is what the Condor Express closely watched today:

2 Blue Whales  9 Humpback Whales 50 Risso's Dolphins 20 California Sea Lions …and for you bird lovers, the grounds were swarming with tens of thousands of Red-Necked and Red Phalaropes busy feeding on krill and trying not to get in the way of the big guys.

Many more spouts and lunges were seen in the distance.  Of course, you never know on a day to day basis what mother nature has in store.  But it is always an amazing day full of sea creatures and adventures on the high seas when the Condor Express leaves the dock at 10am daily.  Hope to see you and your associates out there…

Sign up now and tell your friends.  Call 1-888-77WHALE or 805-882-0088 to get your name on the list before all the spots fill up. Photographs from today's adventure will be available online tomorrow on the boat photo site: www.CondorExpressPhotos.com Best fishes and have a WHALE of a day !
