As your faithful reporter, I am running out of superlatives to describe the massive quantities and thrilling close encounters that we have been experiencing for the past several weeks. So, depleted as I am of verbiage, here is what we got close to and followed today:

Our expeditions are accompanied by trained and articulate naturalists from the Channel Islands Naturalists Corps. They circulate among the whale watchers and help provide interesting views and news. You will recognize these volunteers by their blue shirts and jackets (and name tags).
