Whale Watching…as good as it ever gets!

Whale Lovers,

Here are the species we watched closely today:

23 Humpback Whales (more in the binocular range)

5 Blue Whales (others seen in the area)

2000 Common Dolphins

Drop dead gorgeous conditions out on the feeding grounds again today, and the cetacean sightings have never been better.  Lots of action everywhere, especially from one young, barnacle-covered female Humpback (we call her Barnacle Betty.)  Betty breached a few times, as she will do once in a while, and one was extremely close to the Condor Express.  This is California whale watching at its best !
